R-DUB'S LAWN CARE LLC ("R-DUB'S", "we", "us") provides lawn care and related property services in and around Battle Creek, Michigan. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit rdubslawncare.com, request a quote, become a customer, or use our customer portal, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and the address of the property we service.
- Service details: lot size, the plan or package you choose, scheduling, notes you give us (such as gates or pets), and photos you choose to upload, for example of a lawn problem.
- Account details: a username and sign-in information if you use the customer portal.
- Payment details: payments are handled by our payment processor. We don't store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Messages: the texts, emails and requests you send us, and our replies.
- Basic technical information: such as browser type and a saved light or dark theme preference on your device.
How we use it
We use your information to give you quotes, schedule and perform service, send reminders and service updates, bill you and process payments, answer your questions, keep our systems secure, and improve our service. We don't sell your personal information.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, R-DUB'S LAWN CARE LLC (R-DUB'S Lawn Care) may text you about your service: quotes you asked for, appointment reminders, "crew is on the way" notices, schedule or weather changes, payment links and receipts, portal sign-in codes, and replies to your questions. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the business, and only as needed to do their job: web hosting and data storage, text and email delivery, payment processing, mapping and routing, and similar service providers. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our crew, or our customers. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and service records for as long as you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterward for billing, tax and record-keeping needs. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your choices").
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access limits for our team. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP. You can also email us to be removed.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@rdubslawncare.com.
- Opting out of texts doesn't stop service. We may still contact you by phone or email about your account.
Children
Our website and services are meant for property owners and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
